The Ministry for Gozo (MGOZ) was set up in 1987 like the main administrative body of the Gozo Island. In fact, it is the ministry of the Government of Malta.
MGOZ is registered as an ERASMUS organization.
The role of MGOZ is to establish and develop the island of Gozo in all its aspects. As far as the Erasmus organizational component is concerned, MGOZ has an active role in promoting the security of the natural environment, the development of ecological tourism, the development of sports for all, as well as in ensuring equal opportunities for all people living in Gozo.
Addu Women’s Association (AWA) was initiated as an informal Facebook Group by Juwariya Wajdy who is a well-known entrepreneur skilled in culinary, and arts and craft skills. Her aim then was to empower Addu women in arts and craft skills and generate economic independency. However, on 7th September 2015, AWA was formalized and officially registered by
Dr Shakeela and Juwariya Wajdy, with the aim of empowering not only women of Addu City, but women and youth from all over Maldives.
Since then AWA has been accelerating its efforts with new energy and new vision, to address the need of, and to empower women and youth of not only Addu City, but the outer islands of Maldives in all spheres of their life and facilitate opportunities for their growth.
The Diplomacy, Security and Defense Research Organization (DSD RO) responds, directly, through the components “Security”, “Diplomacy” and “Research” to the imperatives of social inclusion.
Thus, the “Security” component refers to several forms of security, including: youth security, protection of the environment, social security, youth integration in antreprenoriat activities.
The “Diplomacy” component refers in particular to the side of public diplomacy, informal transmission, of some principles and requirements related to the protection of the natural environment of formal European Union (EU) diplomacy.
The “Research” component allows the development of ways (methods, techniques, methodologies, finished products) of socio-friendly type, to promote “eco-friendly” concepts.
